The building is located on a site with access from two streets and a favorable slope for the distribution of its needs and functions. The structure is divided into a lower level with parking and technical areas connecting the two streets, and the main nave, which receives indirect natural light directed towards the altar, emphasizing the sacredness. In this nave, the acoustics and materials provide an immersive experience during the celebrations.
In addition, there is a space for immersion baptism in a transition area between the altar and the outside, with a pool representing the element of purification and preparation.
Finally, there is a reception and orientation area concentrated in a vertical building above the nave. This space is composed of classrooms and multimedia rooms for recording digital content, providing support for church activities and events, as well as experiences for children and families during worship services.
The choice of solid materials at the entrance of the building is a striking feature of the architecture of this project. The robustness and security that they convey are essential to ensure that people feel welcomed and comfortable from the beginning of their experience on site.
