The Master Plan for the Escola da Congregação do Sagrado Coração de Jesus, located in the traditional Perdizes neighborhood of São Paulo, presents a strategic vision to guide the institution’s growth and evolution. The project seeks to revitalize existing buildings, preserving their identity and history, and introduces new buildings with diverse uses, ensuring functionality, integration, and modernity to the campus.

The proposal includes the construction of a hotel, an arts, sports, and culture center, a library, a shopping gallery, a multi-purpose building, and the administrative center of the Sacred Heart Network, expanding the institution’s infrastructure and strengthening its educational and cultural activities. The sisters’ residences were planned with comfort and privacy in mind, while the Colégio Sagrado Coração, located on the building’s facade, creates a welcoming and social space for students and visitors, reinforcing the school’s presence and identity on the street.

Given the scale and complexity of the program, the master plan proposes phasing the interventions, ensuring the best use of resources, the viability of the project, and the continuity of the school’s activities throughout the implementation period. The project emphasizes the creation of internal plazas, gardens, and green areas that promote gatherings, outdoor activities, and well-being, harmoniously connecting different uses and stimulating the daily life of the community.

The integration between architecture, landscaping, and public space provides environmental quality, comfort, and a welcoming experience for students, staff, and visitors.The architecture combines innovation and tradition, with solutions that respect the human scale, favor natural lighting and ventilation, and promote fluid circulation between sectors. Each intervention dialogues with the existing buildings, creating a cohesive and visually balanced whole that reflects the institution’s identity.

More than reorganizing the campus, the master plan establishes a vision for the future of the Escola da Congregação do Sagrado Coração de Jesus, offering complete infrastructure for education, culture, leisure, and administration, reinforcing its role as a reference in the city.
