Description sent by the project team. In front of nature, and framed by vast vegetation, there is a land with two clearly marked axes that open excessively in trapezoidal form. With 12 meters in front and an opening of up to 50 meters in depth, this project aims to solve the complexity of the lot. Starting with a discreet front facade, several textures were considered and combined. A concrete “L” that is placed contrasts with the permeable wooden entrance and the glass accompanies a solid volume of stone. The language proposed in the subsequent environment was directed in the opposite direction: the volumes impact with their imposing and geometric bodies, channeling the user’s view to the landscape, creating a “telescope” effect on the phenomenology that is experienced when moving through the house.

Reinterpreting the existing topography of the place, the project plays with levels and with an obvious horizontality in its volumetry, which generates a perspective and allows the opening of most spaces, allowing the wind and the views to pass and appear. The selection of materials, chose to choose the components extracted from the region, and became a poetic gesture when incorporating stones from the Colima volcano, which encloses the panoramic view of the house. The homogeneity achieved under the composition of natural elements and their combination with others of industrial affinity generate balance and order, which give aesthetic and plastic richness to the design of the house. In this way, structural solutions not only fulfill the function of the project, but also allow for the exceptional projection that is extruded from the volumes on the rear facade. Thus, the assembly of steel columns and beams with concrete were fundamental in the configuration of the project.

The architecture program is spread over 3 floors: the lower level houses the bar and the TV room; completely social spaces that are affably related to the garden of the house. An intermediate level; where the pool, terrace, living room and kitchen share unique landscapes and a transformable antagonistic atmosphere that allows you to enjoy privacy or the company of more guests. Finally, a much more private area is provided at the highest level, which surrounds the rooms in an isolated environment, and still does not neglect the preeminence of enjoying the horizon.
