\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen we were hired to transform a regional hypermarket in the eastern outskirts of S\u00e3o Paulo into a shopping center, our team of architects dedicated themselves to creating an architectural language for the complex that would be identified by the local public as a focal point of the region. Our project included the adaptation of the existing hypermarket and the creation of two mall floors.

\n\nThe food court, although following the traditional shopping center model, was designed with flexibility to adapt to changes in the industry and possible future expansions. In addition, we included a cinema, which not only enhances the volume of the complex, but also contributes to attracting the public.

\n\nRegarding the volumetric scale of the building, we sought to create a monumental relationship with the pedestrians, without losing their connection to the new entrances, making the space almost sacred in a clearly differentiated environment. The facade was designed with clean lines and glass transparency, with the main objective of avoiding the building becoming outdated and keeping it contemporary.

\n\nParking was also a central concern in our project. To do this, we included an addition to the roof, which allowed for an increase in the number of parking spaces, contributing to the convenience of visitors.

\n\nOur goal was to create a welcoming and inviting environment for the residents of the region, offering a new option for leisure and consumption in a modern and sophisticated space.We believe that by creating a shopping center with this proposal, we are contributing to improving the quality of life of the local population.

\n\nBy transforming a hypermarket into a shopping center, we had the opportunity to create a meeting point and reference for the region, which is able to offer visitors and users a unique experience, both in terms of shopping and entertainment.
