\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tVirtual reality is a technology that guides the brain to “believe” that it is seeing a real environment in which various virtual objects with realistic textures applied are positioned. Thus, what is transmitted is an environment with the same sensations of depth, height, and width as a real location.

\n\nArchitects have always faced the challenge of conveying their project vision clearly. For a long time, these presentations were traditionally made through drawings, models, 3D models, videos, and other resources.

\n\nHowever, when it comes to explaining their vision that justifies project options, the experience may not always easily convey the message to clients, for whom it may be difficult to mentally visualize the three-dimensional space that architects propose.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt Lopes Dias Arquitetura, Virtual Reality (VR) represents a new way of designing and experiencing our projects. This new way of experiencing, with the aid of dedicated VR tools such as smartphones and VR headsets, ensures greater engagement between clients and architects.

\n\nWe currently work with two different software types: Enscape and Unreal. Enscape is a Revit plug-in that creates a VR guide with a single click based on your BIM data. All materials, geometry, and furnishings come from your Revit project and can be changed during the simulation. This flexibility allows for spontaneous presentations with real-time rendering quality in the architectural project workflow.

\n\nUnreal is a set of tools for developers that can be used to create virtual reality environments. It is frequently used to visualize spaces and render architectural models in immersive environments.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis tool allows our architects to design and build in a virtual reality environment through a powerful set of editor tools and interaction models that have been designed for building the world of virtual reality.

\n\nThrough Virtual Reality, we accelerate the design process by obtaining a better understanding of the creation and adaptation of a project during all its phases, from study to executive design. This allows us to identify virtual compatibilities, design improvements, analyze light interaction in the space, dimension of environments, as well as other situations that would be experienced during or after the physical completion of a project.

\n\nThis provides our clients with a better understanding of the project from the beginning, and, allows future changes to be made with minimal interruption or delay. We believe that virtual reality is another way to narrow the communication gap between client and architect, facilitating the understanding of ideas, providing greater accuracy in observations, and giving clients a more in-depth view of the project initially, where changes are pointed out in real-time, increasing precision and reducing the time spent on revisions.
